A dispute over “hot puris” at a wedding in Jharkhand ended in a stone pelting incident, which led to multiple injuries endured by the attendees. The incident was reported from Giridih, Jharkhand and occurred earlier Tuesday when uninvited guests had an altercation with a family engulfed in the festivities of the wedding.
Weddings are supposed to be a time of love, joy, and a free meal, but in Giridih, Jharkhand, it turned into a food fight. A group of uninvited guests who had snuck in for the grub caused chaos after they were denied hot puris. It seems like they had a real hankering for hot, fluffy puris and were ready to fight for them.
The commotion quickly turned into a full-blown brawl, with guests throwing stones and insults left and right. As a real-life “Hunger Games” situation unfolded, the locals quickly alerted the police who rushed to the scene to put an end to the battle royale.
The uninvited guests apparently chose the wrong wedding to crash, as they were admitted to a nearby hospital for minor treatment. Meanwhile, the cops have registered a case against the instigators, and an investigation is on.

In a recent incident in Giridih, Jharkhand, things went awry when a group of uninvited young men crashed a wedding and caused chaos after they were denied their desired hot puris.

Wedding Crashers Orders Hot Puris 2 am
It all started when a group of young men, who weren’t invited to the wedding, decided to crash the party for a free meal. Hey, we’ve all been there, right? But things quickly took a turn for the worse when these freeloaders demanded hot puris.
When the Shankar Yadav-hosted wedding party denied the young men the hot puris they apparently ordered around 2 am, an argument soon ensued. What started with insults being exchanged, quickly turned into a brawl.

Argument Turns into Altercation
The wedding crashers went as far as calling a few more boys in, for reinforcement, and soon a violent stone-pelting ensued, which injured several people caught in the moment. Thankfully, the police were called in to restore order. They took the instigator of the whole fiasco into custody, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital. All over some hot puris!
Pune Wedding Ends in Chaos Over Gulab Jamuns
But wait, there’s more! This isn’t the first time that a wedding feast has turned into a food fight. Just last month in Pune, a catering contractor was attacked with a frying ladle over a dispute about packing and taking gulab jamuns.
According to reports, after the wedding meal was served, some relatives approached the hotel’s manager, Dipanshu Gupta, to ask if they could take the leftover food. Gupta gave them the go-ahead to pack up the remaining grub.
However, when he noticed one of the guests was attempting to take the gulab jamuns reserved for another ceremony the next day, he kindly asked them to put them back.
Well, apparently, this didn’t sit too well with the guests, who allegedly got quite agitated at the thought of missing out on those sweet, sweet treats.
Before Gupta knew it, he was being attacked with a frying ladle by one of the guests, resulting in a bloody head wound.
