Ashneer Grover Wishes Arjun Kapoor on B’day

Recently, Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover took to Instagram to wish Bollywood actor Arjunk Kapoor on his birthday. The latter replied to Grover’s wish with a twist of Grover’s own catchphrase “Ye toh doglapan hai” which got famous after a Shark Tank India episode.

Giving a twist to the catchphrase, Arjun Kapoor commented, “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu ??? Photo post karli aur wish bhi kar diya yeh to doglapan nahi achi baat hai… thanks for the wishes my man…”.

Earlier, Grover had taken to Instagram and shared a picture from his meeting with Arjun Kapoor on the latter’s birthday. Wishing the ‘2 States’ actor a happy birthday, Grover captioned the picture with, “@arjunkapoor is a true Kapoor – dashing, charming and super funny! Happy birthday dude!”.

He shared another picture from the same evening where he was seen chilling with Arjun Kapoor and his long-time partner Malaika Arora Khan, and shared a different caption that read, “Rendezvous avec Birthday Boy @arjunkapoor and ravishing @malaikaaroraofficial a Paris. ‘Tres gentil et tres jolie’”.

Earlier this month, Ashneer celebrated his own birthday and announced that he was working towards his next ‘unicorn’. “Today I turn 40. Some will say I’ve lived a full life and experienced more things than most. Created value for generations. For me it’s still unfinished business. Time to disrupt another sector. It’s time for the Third Unicorn !!”, the BharatPe co-founder had tweeted.

To this Arjun Kapoor wrote a hilarious comment that left netizens in splits. Giving his own twist to Grover’s catchphrase “Ye toh doglapan hai”, Kapoor commented, “Bhai kya kar raha hai tu ??? Photo post karli aur wish bhi kar diya yeh to doglapan nahi achi baat hai… thanks fr the wishes my man..”

Earlier on June 17, it was reported that Ashneer Grover is back in the startup world, and is looking to raise $300 million for his next venture. A close source was quoted in a Mint report saying, “He may use some of his personal wealth to start with. Eventually, he may either sell a part of his stake in BharatPe or raise fresh capital by issuing a stake in the new company. He has met at least six investors regarding his new venture. Discussions are preliminary right now.”
