In the highly shocking Sidhu Moose Wala murder, new developments have emerged. Hours after he was gunned down, Goldy Brar, Sachin Bishnoi, and Bishnoi Group has taken responsibility of the gruesome murder of the highly popular Punjabi singer and Congress leader.

In a Facebook post, most-wanted gangster Goldy Brar wrote – “I, along with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali, Lawrence Bishnoi group, take responsibility for the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala. His name came up in connection with the murder of Vicky Middukhera and Gurlal Brar and despite this, the police did nothing,” the Facebook post written in Punjabi read, as quoted in an NDTV report.

For the unversed, Vicky Middukhera was an Akali leader who was shot dead in Mohali earlier last year, while his cousin Gurlal, was killed in Chandigarh.

Meanwhile, Punjab Director General of Police has also confirmed that Moose Wala’s assassination was connected to the Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera.

Sachin Bishnoi and his gang Bishnoi Group, have criminal records across multiple states across the nation, including Haryana, Punjab, and the national capital. Sachin Bishnoi is currently serving time in Rajasthan jail, and is allegedly running the gang from behind the bars.

The Facts of the Matter

A day after security of 424 VIP persons was scaled down by Punjab state government, Sidhu Moose Wala was gunned down near Mansa when he was driving an SUV, visiting a friend’s place. Soon after the entire state was rocked by the killing, Canada-based wanted criminal Goldy Brar took the responsibility of the killing.

“I take responsibility…”

In a purported Facebook post from Brar’s profile, it was mentioned that he, along with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali, Lawrence Bishnoi group, were behind the killing of the 28-year-old singer and Congress leader.

“I, along with Sachin Bishnoi Dhattaranwali, Lawrence Bishnoi group, take responsibility for the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala. His name came up in connection with the murder of Vicky Middukhera and Gurlal Brar and despite this, the police did nothing,” the post read, as per an NDTV report.

Who is Goldy Brar?

Goldy Brar, real name Satinder Singh, is an aid and associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster from Punjab. Brar is known to have behind running an extortion racket across Punjab and is currently living in India, operating from overseas.

Earlier in 2021, a Faridkot district court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Brar for the killing of Gural Singh Pehalwa, who was gunned down by two unidentified men in Faridkot.

Why was Sidhu Moose Wala Gunned Down by Goldy Brar & Co.?

In his Facebook post, Goldy Brar claimed that Moose Wala was killed for his connection with the death of Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera and his own cousin Gurlal Brar. In an India Today report, Sidhu Moose Wala was further hunted for his alleged involvement in the Ankit Bhadu encounter.

Video Shows Moose Wala’s Car was Followed

Earlier on Sunday, after the news of Moose Wala’s murder broke, another shocking news followed it. News agency ANI released a short clip on Twitter where it was shown that Sidhu Moose Wala’s vehicle was tailed moments before he was gunned down.

SIT Formed to Nab Accused

Meanwhile, a special investigation team has already been formed to investigate the matter and nab the accused. The team was comprised by Bathinda Range IGP, Pradeep Yadav and includes SP Mansa Dharmveer Singh, DSP Bathinda Vishwajeet Singh and CIA Mansa Prithipal Singh.
