Indore: 12-Year-Old Boy Held for Raping 3-Year-Old Girl Who Lived in his Neighbourhood, Lured Her with Chocolates
In a horrific incident reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, a 12-year-old boy was held for allegedly raping a 3-year-old girl who lives in his neighbourhood. The alleged accused and victim both reside in Indore’s Banganga area. The incident occurred earlier on Sunday when the victim was going to a grocery store and was lured by the accused by chocolates and taken to the accused’s home.
When the victim didn’t return to her home for a while, her mother started searching for her. During her search, the woman visited her neighbour’s home where she was shocked to discover that her child was disrobed. The woman complained that the boy fled from the scene while the victim was crying.
After bringing the victim home and calming her down, the victim’s mother asked what she was doing at the neighbour’s house. This was when the little one narrated the entire horrific ordeal. Based on what the 3-year-old girl was explained, the mother ascertained that she was raped. She also found out that her daughter had injuries to her private parts.
A complaint was filed at the Banganga police station and a case was registered against the alleged accused under multiple sections of IPC and POCSO Act. The victim’s parents also alleged that the accused boy’s parents threatened them with dire consequences if they were to raise an alarm and alert the authorities.

While the world is full of unjust incidents where innocents are often subjected to multitudes of horrors, when an innocent child is subjected to such horrors, one loses faith in all that’s just and good in the world. Recently, a case in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore has emerged that is enough to curdle one’s blood and make them want to give up whatever faith they may have.

3-Year-Old Was Off to Grocery Store
In Indore’s Banganga region, a 3-year-old was allegedly raped by a 13-year-old boy. Both the accused and victim live next door and the incident occurred earlier on Sunday. On the day of the alleged rape, the victim had gone to the nearby grocery store.
Minor Lures Victim with Chocolates
Before she could go to the store, the alleged accused lured her with chocolates and took her to his house. As the young one knew the accused, she readily went with him. Meanwhile, after the girl didn’t return at her home for a while, her mother started searching for him.
Mother Finds Toddler Daughter Disrobed
During her search, she visited the neighbourhood house where she was shocked to see her 3-year-old daughter disrobed. Reportedly, the boy fled from the scene seeing the victim’s mother. The woman brought her daughter home and calmed her down.
Private Parts Injured
After calming her down, she asked her to narrate whatever transpired. Based on the account that the toddler provided, her mother ascertained that she was raped. She also found injuries on the private parts of her daughter.

13-Year-Old Minor Sent to Juvenile Home
Following this, the victim’s parents took to the Banganga police station. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against the minor accused under provisions of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO (Protection of Children against Sexual Offences) Act. The accused boy was produced before the juvenile board and was sent to the state-run juvenile home.
