In a heartbreaking development, an Indian homeless woman, who has as many as 3 bachelor’s degrees, is forced to live in a Honda City for four years, in Dubai. The story of Priya is one of a bittersweet nature, with several incidents of fate dealing some difficult cards to her, and despite the twisted nature of fate. However, the thread of humanity that ties us all together, helped Priya.
Priya, an Indian woman living in Dubai for almost four decades, had never thought that her life would take such a turn. Her parents were well-settled, living in a comfortable home like many others in the foreign land.
However, when her father passed away, things turned upside down for her. Her mother fell ill and was bedridden for years, and Priya had to spend a lot of money on her treatment. The family also faced losses in their business, which led to financial instability.
For four long years, Priya had been living in her car, struggling to make ends meet, and carry on with her life. However, when all hope seemed lost, a businesswoman Jasbir Bassi, came across Priya’s story on social media.

Priya’s Comfortable Life Takes Tragic Turn
Priya, an Indian expat, had spent most of her life in Dubai, where her parents had a successful business and a comfortable lifestyle. However, her fortunes took a turn for the worse when her father passed away, and her mother fell gravely ill and became bedridden for years.
The cost of her mother’s treatment left Priya financially strained, and her family business also suffered losses.
Moving Into Honda City with Pet Dogs
After her mother’s passing, Priya was forced to leave the house she had grown up in as she could no longer afford the rent. Her life took a dramatic turn when she had to make her car her home. She lived in her Honda City with her two dogs, one of which was blind, for the next four years.
Forced to Work as Maid Despite 3 Degrees
Despite her three bachelor’s degrees, Priya was unable to find work and was currently employed as a maid in the area. Despite working as a maid, Priya could only earn around 500 Dhs a month, and some of that money went towards supporting her brother’s medical treatment back in India.

Guardian Angel Appears Out of Nowhere
Just when Priya’s fate seemed to be at its worst, Jasbir Bassi, a Dubai-based businesswoman, entered her life like a guardian angel. Priya was a complete stranger to her, but Jasbir did not judge her and offered to clear all her financial dues.
“Jasbir Bassi, a businesswoman in Dubai, has been an absolute angel. It’s truly a miracle. I am a complete stranger to her. Despite that, she offered to clear all my financial dues. She didn’t judge me and agreed to pay all my dues,” Priya said, in her interview.
