Delhi Woman, Who Suffered Miscarriage After Being Shot by Neighbour Over Dispute About Loud Music, Dies
In a tragic development, a woman in Delhi, who reportedly suffered a miscarriage after being shot by her neighbours over an alleged dispute about loud music, died days after the incident. The horrific incident took place earlier on April 3, in Delhi’s Siraspur. The woman was reportedly hospitalised with critical injuries, and after spending several days at the hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
“The woman’s condition was stated to be critical. She was undergoing treatment at a city hospital. We received information from the hospital on Saturday that she had succumbed to her injuries,” news agency Press Trust of India quoted a senior official saying.
Following her death, the police have added Section 302 (murder) to the FIR, and the accused Harish and his friend Amit, whose gun was used to commit the crime, have been arrested. The police received a PCR call regarding a firing incident in Siraspur on April 3, and after reaching the spot, they found Ranju had been admitted to Max Hospital in Shalimar Bagh.
According to reports 30-year-old Ranju, objected to the loud music being played during a function at Harish’s home. According to an eyewitness statement given by Ranju’s sister-in-law, Harish had organized a ‘kuan pujan’ ceremony for his son, and a DJ was playing during the event.

In a recent incident in Delhi, a 30-year-old pregnant woman lost her life after a confrontation with her neighbor over loud music being played during a function. The dispute escalated quickly, resulting in the woman, who was a mother to three children, being shot and suffering a miscarriage.

Woman Lived with Labourer Husband
According to reports, the incident took place in Siraspur area on April 3, where a ‘kuan piujan’ ceremony was taking place at the woman’s neighbour’s house.
The victim in the matter was identiifed as 30-year-old Ranju, who was living at a rented accommodation with her husband who works as a labourer.
“The woman’s condition was stated to be critical. She was undergoing treatment at a city hospital. We received information from the hospital on Saturday that she had succumbed to her injuries,” a police officer was quoted saying.

Ranju was Admitted in Critical Condition
The victim, Ranju, was allegedly shot by her neighbor Harish on April 3, after she objected to the loud music being played during a function at his home. Ranju’s condition was critical, and she was undergoing treatment at a hospital. However, the doctors were unable to save her.

The DJ Party That Turned Deadly
According to Ranju’s sister-in-law, who was an eyewitness to the incident, Harish, who worked as a delivery person, had organized a ‘kuan pujan’ ceremony for his son, during which a DJ was playing loud music. Ranju came out to her balcony and asked Harish, who lived across the street, to turn down the music.
In response to her request, Harish took a gun from Amit, who worked at a mobile repair shop, and fired at Ranju. Unfortunately, the bullet hit her, causing severe injuries.
Police Arrived At Scene After Woman’s Hospitalisation
When the police arrived at the scene, Ranju had already been admitted to a hospital, where she was found to have suffered a gunshot wound to her neck. She was unfit to provide a statement, but doctors informed the police that she had also suffered a miscarriage.
Based on the relevant insights, the cops registered a case against the neighbour and his friend, from whom he got the gun from.
