Recently, Indian spinner Amit Mishra won hearts of netizens after he sent Rs 500 to a Twitter user who asked for Rs 300 from him to take his girlfriend out. “All the best for your date”, Mishra tweeted, sharing a screenshot of a successful UPI transfer which showed that he transferred Rs 500 to the user.

Earlier on Wednesday, former Indian cricket team batter Suresh Raina took a phenomenal catch during the Road Safety World Series 2022, to dismiss Ben Dunk. Raina’s athleticism reminded the cricket fans of an era not long gone by, when he used to help team India win matches thanks to his fielding and presence of mind.

While netizens flooded Twitter to laud Raina, former spinner Amit Mishra too appreciated him by tweeting – “Bhai @imraina, can I borrow your Time Machine? It’s mesmerising to see you field like old times.”

To this, a Twitter user in a now deleted tweet asked Mishra for Rs 300 so he can take his girlfriend out. In a wonderful gesture, the ace spinner transferred not Rs 300, but Rs 500 to the Twitter user’s account.

With over a million followers, Mishra is now enthralling Twitteratis with his witty and delightful tweets.

The high-flying catch suddenly caught frenzy of netizens on Twitter, who reminisced the days when Raina used to take such wickets. In its appreciation, Amit Mishra also took to Twitter and wrote – “Bhai @imraina, can I borrow your Time Machine? It’s mesmerising to see you field like old times.”

Among many netizens who commented on this particular tweet, was one user, who took his chance, and asked Rs 300 from Mishra to take his girlfriend out on date. The user’s fluke actually worked and Mishra ended up giving not Rs 300 but Rs 500 to the man.

Taking to Twitter, Mishra shared the screenshot of the successful transfer and wrote – “Done, all the best for your date.”
