Viral: Leopard Rescued from Drowning in a Well, IFS Officer and Netizens Requests Urgent Action

A video of a leopard being rescued from a well has been circulating and getting tons and tons of views all across the social media. IFS officer, Susanta Nanda recently took over his twitter handle to share this breath-taking video in which a leopard can be seen getting rescued from inside a well. This video has also left netizens worried and demanding for quick and urgent actions for the critical matters like these.

Although being a part of the Indian Forest Service, Mr. Susanta Nanda  keeps updating his twitter with the latest rescues and rehabilitations done around on a regular basis. But this particular video has been gaining attention as a leopard can be seen getting rescued using the “ Mohenjo Daro Harappan technology”.

Mr. Susanta captioned the tweet that read, “Another day. Another rescue of a leopard from an open well using the Mohenjo Daro Harappan technology. This will stop only when we close the open wells around the animal habitat. “

The Incident and IFS to the Rescue

In the video, a leopard can be seen who has fallen into the deep well that was situated near about the forest, or it can be suggested that it was a low-lying rural area. The leopard can be seen lifted up with the help of a cot which is slightly bent towards him. The leopard hops on the cot and the cot is then swiftly and gradually pulled up.

The entire process of rescuing the leopard was performed by the IFS team and officials and was done precisely and smoothly hence the team was praised and the rescued leopard then left the spot without causing harm to anyone.

Netizen’s Reaction and Request for An Immediate Action

As soon as Susanta shared the video on 25th of June the video has been going viral since then and also there are quite a few heated up reactions from the netizens across the web and most of them are requesting an immediate and urgent reaction from the government officials for the betterment and safety of the animals from the wildlife.
