UP Woman’s Lover Caught on Video Stabbing her Husband to Death

In a disturbing incident caught on video, a Uttar Pradesh-based woman’s lover was caught on video stabbing the woman’s husband to death in broad daylight in Amroha. In the immediate aftermath of the incident, the accused man was arrested and the victim’s body was sent to postmortem. Meanwhile, the woman in question was also injured in the stabbing incident and was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

The incident, which was captured on camera, took place in the Kotwali area’s Islamanagar colony on Monday. The victim, Chand, who had been away for some time, was visiting his parents during Eid when he was lured to his wife’s house by his lover.

Little did Chand know that his visit would prove to be his last. As he entered the house, he was attacked by his wife’s lover, identified as Shahrukh, with a knife. The brutal attack left Chand with severe injuries to his neck, waist, arms, and stomach. Despite being wounded, Chand tried to flee, but Shahrukh chased him down and attacked him again at a junction in Islamanagar.

As the spine-chilling incident unfolded, the villagers gathered around, trying to snatch away the murder weapon from Shahrukh. However, despite their attempts, Shahrukh held on to the knife, and Chand lay bleeding profusely on the ground.

The Facts of the Matter

Love may be a beautiful feeling, but it can also have deadly consequences. According to the Crime in India Year 2020 report by the National Crime Records Bureau, romantic relationships, including extra-marital affairs, accounted for more than 10% of all murders in the country. n 2020, as many as 3,031 of 29,193 recorded murders were motivated by love affairs.

One such incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha, where a man was brutally stabbed to death by his wife’s lover in broad daylight.

Victim had 6 Children with Wife

The incident reportedly took place in Kotwali area’s Islamnagar colony on a Monday afternoon. According to an Amarujala report, the victim, Chand, and his wife were married for 14 years and have six children.

However, their marriage had been in turmoil, and the wife was having an extramarital affair with a man identified as Shahrukh. The spine-chilling incident was captured on video, as a group of onlookers gathered around, trying to intervene and take away the murder weapon.

What Does the Video Show

The video footage shows a brutal scene as Shahrukh is seen being intercepted by his lover. The woman is seen trying to take away the weapon from him, and both of them are soaked in blood. Villagers are then seen trying to take the knife away from Shahrukh, but all throughout the video, 5-6 people fail in their bid to snatch away the weapon. Towards the end of the video, a severely injured Chand is seen sitting outside a house, barely able to stand and bleeding profusely from his wounds.

Moments Before the Tragic Incident

According to reports, the victim Chand had been away from his family for several months, working on a project. But when he returned home to visit his parents during Eid, his wife called him to come over.

As soon as Chand entered the house, Shahrukh attacked him with a knife. The accused stabbed Chand repeatedly, wounding him on his neck, waist, arms, and stomach. Despite his injuries, Chand managed to flee the house, with Shahrukh in hot pursuit.

Accused Arrested, Victim Succumbs

Police took Chand to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. The woman was also admitted to the hospital. Meanwhile, Shahrukh was taken into custody and an investigation has been kicked off in the incident.
