In a baffling incident of love-affair gone awry, a Kanpur-based girl allegedly eloped with her boyfriend’s 45-year-old father, leading to the arrest of the 45-year-old, who works as a mason. The incident was reported from the small village of Kanchausi, and the 45-year-old was identified as Kamlesh Kumar, a mason by trade.
While masons are found dime a dozen, especially in a developing country like India, Kamlesh was no ordinary mason. Kamlesh was a man with a penchant for drama, and he was about to create one of the biggest scandals the village had ever seen.
It all started when Kamlesh and his son came to work on an under-construction house in the Chakeri area of the city. Kamlesh’s son had fallen head over heels in love with a local girl who was just 20 years old. But, as fate would have it, the girl eventually broke up with Kamlesh’s son and started seeing Kamlesh himself!
Now, this was scandalous enough as it is, but Kamlesh wasn’t content with just having an affair with his son’s girlfriend. Oh no, he had to take it one step further. In March of 2022, Kamlesh eloped with the girl, leaving his son heartbroken and confused.
A case of kidnapping was filed by the girl’s family, and a after a year of search, Kamlesh was found living in Delhi.

Mason Starts Working on Under Construction Home
Iin the quaint village of Kanchausi, Auraiya, lived a 45-year-old mason named Kamlesh Kumar. Kamlesh was an ordinary man with ordinary dreams, or so it seemed. He came to the big city of Chakeri to work on an under-construction house along with his son, who was madly in love with a 20-year-old girl from the neighbourhood.
Girl Breaks Up with Mason’s Son, Starts Dating Father
But as we all know, Love is a fickle creature, and sometimes it leads us down a treacherous path. The girl, for some reason, decided to break Kamlesh’s son’s heart and instead fell for the charms of the middle-aged mason.
Kamlesh and the girl eloped in March 2022, leaving the poor son heartbroken and the girl’s family in a state of frenzy. The family lodged a case of kidnapping against unknown persons, and the police swung into action. They started an investigation to locate the whereabouts of the missing girl.

Police Finally Closes Into Couple, Arrests Mason
Meanwhile, Kamlesh and the girl were living their dream in the big city, unaware of the chaos they had left behind. But as they say, you can run, but you can’t hide. The police got wind of the girl’s presence in Delhi through surveillance and immediately swung into action.
In a scene straight out of a pulpy 90s action film, the police stormed into the hideout, and rescued the damsel in distress. They arrested Kamlesh, who was probably still basking in the afterglow of his newfound love.
In-charge Chakeri police station Ratnesh Singh said that the girl had been missing since March 2022. Well, it looks like the game was up for Kamlesh.
