A Pakistani cooking show contestant has reached virality status by making a rather dubious decision of bringing a restaurant-prepared biryani to impress the judges. The clip making rounds of social media shows the judges looking baffled at the woman’s audacity and turning their faces towards each other in utter shock. The viral clip was taken during audition of a Pakistani cooking reality show called ‘The Kitchen Master’.

Pakistani cooking show, The Kitchen Master, recently stirred up a storm on social media after an ambitious contestant showed up with store-bought biryani instead of a self-made dish to present to the judges. The aspiring chef was reportedly taken aback by the judges’ rejection of her store-bought offering and subsequently refused to leave the set.

The contestant argued that she was not informed about the mandatory requirement of presenting a self-cooked dish on a plate for the judges to taste. In her defense, she claimed to have put in considerable effort to procure the biryani from the “best shop in her area.” However, her reasoning was not well received by the judges who requested her to exit the stage.

The Kitchen Master, a popular cooking show in Pakistan, features chefs, Samia Jamil, Rabia Anum, and Ammara, as judges. Many netizens speculated that the contestant was part of a stunt for TRPs.

Recently, a Pakistani reality-show contestant tried to do something similar and became viral for her dubious decision of bringing restaurant-prepared food for an audition for a cooking show. The incident was brought forth by journalist Amber Zaidi (@Amberological), who took to Twitter to share the video.

In the clip, a confident contestant offers up a dish of biryani to the judges – but there’s a catch.

Instead of presenting a dish she’s cooked herself, the bold aspirant reveals that she’s brought in biryani from a local restaurant, claiming it’s the best in the area.

Things take a dramatic turn when the contestant is asked to leave, but not before she insists the judges try the food she’s worked so hard to bring for them. In her defense, the daring foodie argues that she waited in line to get the biryani and went to great lengths to deliver it to the judges.
