Bihar Student Faints & Hospitalised After finding himself Among 500 Female Students at Exam Centre

In a bizarre incident reported from Bihar, a student ended up being hospitalized after he fainted when he found himself being the only lone boy among 500 female students at the exam centre. The incident was reported from Brilliant School, where a class 12 student, identified as Manish, had come all from Allama Iqbal College to appear for his board examination.

For the unversed, the higher secondary board examination started in Bihar earlier on February 1 with the first day of the examination being conducted in a peaceful manner with no reports of cheating or unfair practices. However, a student had to be hospitalised after he was allocated an examination centre, where as many as 500 female students were also appearing to write their board examination. According to reports, the boy got nervous, which ended up in him getting unconscious.

The student, Manish Shankar, is a student of Allama Iqbal College and had come to the Brilliant Convent School in Bihar Sharif. When he reached the centre, he found himself surrounded with hundreds of girls. According to reports, there were 500 girls, seeing whom Manish got so nervous that he fainted in the classroom.

Manish’s relative was quoted in a news report saying, “This happened by making a lone boy sit among 500 girls.”

Examinations can be a nerve-wracking experience for students, as they can often determine their future academic and career paths. The pressure to perform well and live up to expectations can be overwhelming, and the fear of not being able to meet these expectations can result in feelings of anxiety and stress.

Class 12 Student Met with Peculiar Situation

However, for one student in Bihar, the source of his stress was not related to his preparation for the examination. Manish Shankar, a student of Allama Iqbal College, was met with an unusual situation during his board examination on February 1st. When he arrived at the Brilliant Convent School in Bihar Sharif, he found himself surrounded by 500 female students, and not a single male student in sight.

Boy Gets Nervous After Finding Himself Among 500 Female Students

Manish was shocked by the sight of so many female students in the exam hall and became incredibly nervous. He tried to compose himself and take the exam, but unfortunately, the stress became too much for him to handle. Manish fainted right there in the examination hall, leaving both students and school staff in a state of disbelief.

“Couldn’t handle the pressure”: Boy’s Aunt

The school administration immediately rushed Manish to the Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for treatment. After regaining consciousness a few hours later, Manish’s aunt was quoted in a Zee News report saying, “The school administration is responsible for this situation. My nephew was allotted an examination centre meant for female students and was seated in the main hall surrounded by hundreds of girls. He simply couldn’t handle the pressure.”

Manish’s family has since blamed the Bihar Intermediate Council for allotting Manish an examination that was quite obviously meant for female students.

Meanwhile, in a similar shocking incident reported from the Bihar board examination, a group of girls were reported to have jumped over an iron gate of an exam centre. The incident was reported from KST College, Nalanda, where the group of girls had arrived late for their exam. When they were denied admission into the exam centre, the girls jumped the iron gate to somehow write the examination in the time that remained.
