MPPSC Recruitment : 4098 Posts
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has taken out bumper recruitment. On Friday, 44 advertisements including the State Administrative Service Examination-2022 were issued in one day. For this, advertisements were issued throughout the night in the PSC office.
About 4098 posts will be recruited from these advertisements. Including these, in 2022, a total of 54 advertisements came out from PSC for 5273 posts. The maximum number of 38 advertisements are from the Higher Education Department. Actually, separate advertisements are being taken out for Assistant Professor of each subject, so that if the case of any one subject goes to the court, then the recruitment of other subjects does not get stuck.
On the other hand, the three-year selection process to be conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (PSC) for recruitment to the posts of state administrative officers is stuck at different levels. This includes the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
PSC has issued a new notification of 2022 on Friday. That is, PSC has started the selection process for the fourth year also. But, the final selection of the candidates is not being done. According to the last 3 notifications, recruitment is to be done on 1121 posts. According to the notification of the year 2022, there will be recruitment on 427 posts.
The biggest reason for stalling the selection process in PSC is the increased reservation for OBCs. Madhya Pradesh currently has a total reservation of 73% (OBC 27%, SC 16, ST 20 and EWS 10%). This has been challenged in the High Court. The General Administration Department took the middle way, in which, considering 87% of the posts as the main part, decided the process of releasing the final result and making two provisional selection lists of OBC and unreserved category on the remaining 13% posts. But, the candidates have also challenged this guideline of GAD in the court.
